A tale of my student days at Trevelyan College, Durham University. A time full of promise and ambition, love and friendship, hard work and hard play, but somehow fraught with stress and pain, too. I felt like I was a victim of my own success in many ways, in terms of the Great Expectations that were placed on me, and that I placed upon myself. Later life has given me much more time to absorb, reflect and deal with the problems life has thrown at me.
