Lyrics are pretty straightforward, a lonely lover awaits his girl's return, lying in bed under the light of the pale white moon. But the twist is, she's not on some foreign voyage, she's only gone out to the shops, for a packet of crisps and a bottle of pop!
I recorded the guitar and vocals together at first, sadly the guitar went out of tune towards the end, and the vocals were all round shoddy, so I had to re-record another layer of vocals over the top. Unfortunately I couldn't then erase the original vocals, so if you hear some wailing in the background, I blame the lonely lover's cat!
