about

A Very Best Of Mint Biscuit, featuring three brand new acoustic tracks from Hand Over The Jam!, and the majority of the three EPs released in Summer 2021: Quitting The Biscuits, We Are Sailing, and Blues For The Red Cow. A couple of tracks from Completing The Cycle, as well.

I realised, some time after publishing this album and producing a load of CDs for family and friends, that I had sold myself short with the tracklisting, and made the schoolboy error of putting my weakest tracks first on the album! I'm sure my singing on Endgame is enough to put off even a die hard Mint Biscuit fan!

So, I have reordered the tracks for you here, starting with the confident (although poorly recorded) Bluesbeat, a track I recorded at my parents' house in Wales back in 2006. There follows a run of Mint Biscuit classic tunes before the more experimental and acoustic tunes creep in towards the end. Hope this new running order suits better!
