Out Of The Sinking Past midnight's hold Where the world's awaiting I'll wait for your love But I close my eyes, as there's pain too in paradise And we pay our price Hey baby say, just what you're thinking Know I know it, yeah, feel I'm sinking Know I feel it, I know you feel it too Across the water, there's a boat that Will take us away It is shining for me All I need it to be But I can't find the key The one to make me believe Late at night When the world is dreaming Way past the stars That ignore our fate, all twinkle too late to save us So we save ourselves. Hey baby do, just what you're thinking Know I know it, yeah, feel I'm sinking Know I feel it, I know you feel it too Across the water, there's a boat that Will take us away Far from the madness, out of the sadness Into sunlight, out of the sinking You know I feel it, I know you feel it too Across the water, there's a boat that will take us away And there we will stay

Gotta See the Sun Gotta see the sun before you go Gotta see the mountains shine Before you go back to the ones you know Let me show you this place of mine Gotta see the sun hang so high A thousand feet above the sea Sit on the cliffs, and watch the seagulls Fly above you and me So just lie back, and let the waters close above your eyes Just lie back, and let the waters close above your eyes Yes just lie back, and let the seaweed tangle up your mind Coz the sky's alight, the hills are filled with rain And it's alright Gotta see the sun before you go Gotta see the mountains shine Before you go back to the ones you know Let me show you this place of mine Gotta see the sun hang so high A thousand feet above the sea Sit on the cliffs, and watch the seagulls Fly above you and me So just lie back, and let the waters close above your eyes Just lie back, and let the waters close above your eyes Yes just lie back, and let the seaweed tangle up your mind Coz the sky's alight, the hills are filled with rain And it's alright

Coming Apart Trace the shadow of a lonely day You cry for a taste of what you see You're coming apart, You don't know what you believe Drifting like the victim Of somebody else's dream Stuck with regret And no new way You cry for a taste of what you see You're coming apart, You don't know what you believe Drifting like the victim Of somebody else's dream You're coming apart, You don't know what you believe You're coming apart, You don't know what you believe You're coming apart, You don't know what you believe Drifting like the victim Of somebody else's dream.

about

For the real fans!

Review of After Eight Mint
by Hans Werksman of herecomestheflood.com

"Welsh guitarist Richard Thomas embraces the old adage of "go big or go home", releasing a brand new solo EP, We Are Sailing, a Best of... for those who could not keep up with his output, plus a bunch of remastered live stuff with his Uni band Mint, and a completists-only collection of odds and ends they recorded recently.

The band members reunited recently for a socially distanced jam session, and they picked the best bits for After Eight Mint, working their way through four songs in various permutations. It is a snapshot of a rehearsal that anyone who ever played in a band can relate to".
